Insomnia Americana

This is the story of a trip I made at a rather special time, when the
2016 US Presidential Elections were taking place.

It is my personal story of silence amidst the deafening noise of
political propaganda, in an experience of synthesis and
interpretation of places for what makes them what they are, with
the natural ease of an Italian in New York, who feels at home
because he has already experienced America in the iconographic
make-believe world permeating the entire western culture. A sort
of cultural export that has brought America into our homes and
souls. As I tiptoe through my (personal) American dream in its
aura of perfection, I wonder: does the American dream still exist?
