Portrait of a choreographer

The portrait of a dancer cannot be separated from his body
language. What his feelings tell, his body draws. Marco Pelle,
working as choreographer at the New York Theatre Ballet, subverts
and extends the spatiality of movements out of the gravity that’s
what dancing is about and only a great artist can do.

In order to turn my passion into a career, I trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo (Sicily). After my graduation, I worked as a photoreporter for the Giornale di Sicilia, a local newspaper in Palermo, Sicily. Afterwards, I moved to Milan, where I continued my studies in journalism and photography. Nowadays, I still live and work in Milan. During my career, I have attended many workshops, held by professional photographers, both portrait and street ones.
