Center-pivot irrigation is a method of crop irrigation in which equipment rotates around a
pivot and crops are watered with sprinklers, a method to improve water distribution,
especially useful for more arid environments such as this area in Texas. However drained
aquifers can result in drier areas going back to the desert, which is most likely in areas
of such stark contrast of irrigation area to surrounding landscape, evident in these
aerial images. This is shot in infrared to enhance landscape detail, form and contrasts of
vegetation to surroundings. Imagery are presented in different dimensions to work as a
larger tapestry fitting together like the landscape to present a bigger picture.

My work explores the personal and cultural implications of a more intimate relationship with nature and soul.
