Clash with the Umbrella

After the umbrella revolution happened in 2014, umbrella become
the symbol of Hong Kong Democracy and also the shield to defend
themselves during the clashes with police officers. On November
6, 2016, protesters occupied the street near the Chinese Liaison
Office in Hong Kong during a protest against the China's National
People's Congress Standing Committee.

Chan Long Hei born in 1994, is an independent photographer based in Hong Kong. With his university education background in social policy, he started his career as a photojournalist in 2016 working for different local and international media and companies. Also, he received several awards locally and internationally in reportage field. Apart from his career, he is now devoted to documenting social phenomenons and personal photo projects.
