In the beginning of December, 2015 several paroxysmal episodes were
generated by Mount Etna. One of them came out from the crater called
"Voragine" which created a magnificent spectacle and a seven-km-height
impressive tornado cloud as well as high fountains of eruptive lava.
These phenomenons lasted a couple of days.

Professional cameraman since 1981 and photographer. Skilled in electronics and informatics, author of the book "Analogue Video: Technological Evolution Plus DIY Circuits" (ISBN: 978-0-905705-96-5), based on personal experiences in television technology and published worldwide in 2011.
Recently awarded with a Honorable Mention Award at the "X Prix de la Photographie, Paris" (Px3), year 2016, for 5 photos about Etna and finalist at "General Aviation 2016 Photo Contest" by Aviation Week Network of NY.
