    Brian Van Tighem is a professional wedding photographer in the Canadian Rockies, and an accomplished photographer of cultures and natural places around the world. His work has been seen in a variety of print and online publications, and has been awarded a Gold Medal and Honourable Mentions in previous PX3 competitions. He recently co-authored a book with his father titled 'Heart Waters; the Sources of the Bow River', which features the passionate environmental writings of his father and an array of his own Rocky Mountain photographs. approaching dawn illuminates the vivid colours of the landscape
and the chiseled, sloping peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

Brian grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Canada, and in 2009 acheived a diploma in Digital Photographyin Vancouver, Canada. Afterwards he returned to the Rockies to provide wedding and portrait photography services (www.whiteleafphotographs.com), while still being able to spend time exploring the mountains that inspire him.
