The photos are selected from my "Colors of Dance" Project, an
ongoing photographic journey, which showcases dancers of
various genres in off-stage environments including nature, urban
streets and historic sites. With one photograph, I seek to express:
dance as art, fashion design, color variance, beautiful architecture
and an expression of freedom.

  Yingxi "Michael" Shi is a Chinese photographer based in New York. Michael’s work demonstrates a clean, colorful, character-driven narrative. His new project, Colors of Dance, has received critical acclaim from within both the dance and photography world. He has won numerous international awards and exhibited his work in Philadelphia and New York.
