With Ebola raging in Sierra Leone, the role of dedicated burial teams is
key to stopping the spread of the virus. The body is at its most
contagious after death and a single unsafe burial can infect dozens.

After a long day's work this team was called in to collect a suspected
Ebola victim from the village of Pendembu, in the forested east of
Sierra Leone. They felt they could not leave it until the morning, so
ended up performing the dangerous task of disinfecting and removing
the body using only flash lights.
