The iconic Fastnet Rock Lighthouse sits 4 miles off the coast of
Cape Clear Island in West Cork. I waited for a calm and clear night
before taking the ferry to spend the night there shooting the
Lighthouse. It was just before midnight when the moon backlit the
lighthouse and illuminated the scene.

Based in West Cork, Rohan's spartan work is informed by the rugged land and seascapes of the area. Using long exposures to draw out the essential elements of a scene, his images are enigmatic and compelling, inviting us into a monochromatic world of clean lines and strong shapes.
