After a year of xrays and cat scans and MRI's it seemed only
natural that when I developed a self portrait project, the images
from inside my skin just had to be interwoven into the human
form I inhabit. This was the ultimate Self Examination. This is me,
exposed, inside and out. Perfect and imperfect in many tiny areas
all at the same time.
The absence of detail in the background and in the colour is very
deliberate. Keeping the focus only on the subject, allowing the
viewer to come closer and examine me for the themselves.
