Family In Protest

    Aaron Randal, United States

An antifascist protest in Dijon France. The photos show the
youthfulness of the protesters, their frontline, and the law
enforcement’s frontline. They also show the people stuck in the
middle and the people that were worried that things would get out
of control.

Aaron started with a Canon AE-1 at the age of 10, but was more of a traditional artist until the age of 25. In 2005 he was given his first digital DSLR camera. That same year he enlisted in the United States Air Force. During the four years of service and traveling around the world, he started studying the technical aspects of photography. After returning from Afghanistan in 2011, he separated from the military to attend Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in International Studies and to continue his self-study of photography.

His motivation is how everything inner acts. The human condition, nature, and how they come together to create the reality that we live in.

Uses a Canon 5d Mark III and a Hasselblad 500c
