The place where this photo series was created in 2010 are the banks of the river Aitrelė
in Lithuania. This small, narrow (width - about 2 meters) stream flows through the old
forest near the Lopaičiai mound on which stood the ancient Lithuanian castle. It is
believed that this place was a spiritual religious center. The Lithuanians were the last
pagans in Europe.
