only one day a family

The "Winde's*", or "Morning Glories", create their families in clusters in my garden, large and small flowers have their stems intertwined, blooming and fading away for just one day. Every new day brings new flowers shaped like the memories of yesterday. They are never the same, although dressed like their sisters and brothers,. They fill my house with laughter, like once our children did, like they do when they return from far away.
When I look in the mirror, my blue gown seems faded, almost transparent in the sunlight, we are intertwined with the ones we love, all day long.
