This project deals with the expression of natural beauty through
simple aesthetics. My portrait photography grew out of a love
of nature. It was through my nature photography, that I became
attached to an ideal of simplistic beauty. I found that, with just a
few colors, simple textures, and good light, beautifully simple
scenes created the potential for amazing photographs. My
interest in simple aesthetics stayed with me as I transitioned
into portrait photography. I've found that the limited subject
matter of my work allows the viewer to truly be able to address
the image as a whole.
