The tides ... natural event influenced by the moon, which repeat the dawn of time. Appear and disappear with their tracts of land otherwise hidden from the gaze of the surface. The intimate proves, therefore, at low tide and then retreat in the high tides. In a continuous rhythm, eternal, natural and ever new in its outward manifestation
