The Fighter, The Father is the story of Jorge Herrera's life. Fleeting with his mother at
the age of nine from an abusive father and a Chilean dictatorship, growing up as a trouble
maker in the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark, smooking hash with the friends, skipping
school, getting in to fights all the time and being sent to jail. Memory loss and injuries
on the hard-trained body is starting to show after a hard lived life. At the age of 35
years Jorge Herrera has started to recreate his own life. Trying to live of his ability to
fight he has today become an MMA-figther. But he wants another life than the one he lived
for many years. He has started a confrontation with the past. But above all Jorge wants
his three sons to have a different life than the one he has lived. A life with goals,
comfort and love.
