Dualities is a series of photomontages about time, whether it is a split second or fifty years passing. It is also about vantage point, whether simply looking a little further in one direction or the other, be it physically or emotionally. I am after a sense of transcendence, an experience beyond our normal, physical level and to hint at the possibility of transcendence into an otherworldly place. I hope to imply meanings and possibilities more than to tell a specific story. I strive for a balance between ambiguity and detail. I hope to imbue a quality of myth and a sense of looking deep into another world and back in time.
