Big political meetings attract their own share of protests of the same
scale as the meetings themselves -- witness for example the world
leaders’ summits. Most of the time, these summits are also a vehicle for
other protests, not quite related to the main event but still having their
own tragic stories to tell; it's an opportunity to make your concerns known
on a much bigger scale. It's these other stories I captured in this series:
they were all taken during the Toronto G20 summit of 2010; however,
rather than depicting burning police cars I focused on these personal
issues, from native rights to immigration issues.
