Those pictures are part of Photography For Nairobi ā€“ charitable project aimed at stopping human trafficking in Kenya.

45% of Kenyans are unemployed (75% of them are under 30!), which makes them an easy target for slave-drivers engaged in trafficking in human beings.

Thanks to the PFN-project, a group of young people has been given tools in the form of trainings with the photographer (author of those images) and equipment to be able start to work independently. And they truly changed and still changing their lives for better! Using the tools, the participants of the project are earning money for themselves and for their families. Such a tool is the photo-camera, here a symbol of a working-person between slaves.

On the pictures are some of the participants of the PFN-Project: Betty (age 21), Kenny (age25), Reuben (age 21). Without our help they could easily end up exploited, working as slaves or prostitutes.

THE BORDER BETWEEN NORMAL LIFE AND SLAVERY IS THIN AS A LENS!
