"The road to the future" is an ongoing photographic project that aims to document the
conditions and the accessibility of studies in the educational path of the African
continent. At the moment, the first chapter of this photographic report covers some
primary and secondary schools in Mugunda, Kenya. The construction and commissioning of
many of those schools was made possible thank to the work and interests of Don Romano
Filippi, a missionary priest who works in that area for more than forty years.
