The Hula Valley is a major stopover for birds migrating along the
Syrian-African Rift Valley between Africa, Europe, and Asia. An
estimated 500 million migrating birds pass through the Hula Lake
Park every year.

After her BA in Arts and Cinema Studies at the University of Bologna (Italy), she worked at Magnum Photos (Paris) for several years, as archive consultant, photo editor and as assistant to photographers such as Marc Riboud, Jean Gaumy, Georugui Pinkassov, Micha Bar Am.

Since 2009, she lives in Israel, where she started photographing as a freelance.
