DUring World War 1, there were many nurses who wore lipstick and perfume. They were not only there supporting as medical team, but also to provide support mentally to the soldiers. There is an emphasis on a tube of lipstick giving women a sense of importance and beauty. Their confidence and self assurance motivated and brighten up the many soldiers who have been torn apart by the war. This series is to celebrate the endurance and beauty of women. The photo shoot was taken on Mother's Day in a elderly home. These beautiful women were all dressed for the special occasion. I dedicate this to all the beautiful women in the world.
