I am an Indonesian-born photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. I first began professional-level photography while pursuing my PhD research in Melbourne, 2003 - 2007 - photography meshes naturally with my microscopy work.

I developed a portfolio of work in my favourite categories of portraiture, landscape and macros/details. From 2007 to 2010, I was based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I took the opportunity to do extensive further work throughout Java, and in several other regions of Indonesia, including several professional commissions for agencies wanting to document their work. Trips to Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia allowed me to explore new material in these countries.
