Monument Valley has been used as the stage for advertisements representing American West's idea of freedom and rough individualism. Monument Valley is part of the Navajo Nation and my portraits are of a Navajo family who lives and works on the Land. With this work I want to represent the loss of us all . A gradual loss, in both Nature and Culture.

Born in Rome, Italy. Studied in the U.S.A. and lives in Australia. A graduate in Photography from The University of Texas at Austin. I am committed to photographing the less empowered as dignified individuals and beautiful human beings. I try to emphasize the subjects' personal reality.
