STOP the Serengeti Highway
It's being described as the greatest threat in the Serengeti's history - a commercial highway in the direct path of ancient wildlife migration routes. The government of Tanzania recently approved a major commercial truck corridor across the Serengeti National Park. Conservation organizations have warned that this highway would be devastating.
I creative these images to generate awareness "that the road will have disastrous effects on the entire ecosystem and the inhabitants. It would stop the migration which is critical during the dry season, as it is the only permanent year-round water source."
â??I am drawn to the beauty and spirit of endangered wildlife in Africa and I strive to capture each creatureâ??s individuality. I paint with light and color to create images that are a mixture of wildlife, lyricism and portraiture.â??

"Before Tomorrow Comes," are Photographic Essays

What ties the inhabitants and animals together, besides their geographic location, is that both are threatened with INEVITABLE change.

I have captured a moment in time before this happens.

I paint with light and color to create images that are a mixture of wildlife, lyricism and portraiture.
