Bangkok unrest

Thailand red shirt, supporters of former PM Thaksin Shinawatra, started anti- government protests since mid- March, 2010 and gradually clashed between Thai soldiers and them. At last, Thai authorities have launched a crackdown on a protest camp in the center of the Bangkok and 14 people were killed and over 90 other injured in this crackdown, 19 MAY. Nearly 90 people have lost their lives since mid-March, while more than 1,700 others are reported to have been injured.

Yusuke Harada, born in 1979, is a Japanese photographer based in Tokyo, Japan. He has photographed the world’s major conflicts and its hidden crisis. He has independently photographed and documented throughout Africa, Middle East and Asia. His works have received several awards and grants, and have been published in several magazines and newspapers in Japan and other countries. He is also contributor to NurPhoto Agency.
