Katepat Alfadeel

The Alfadeel Abu Omar military camp in Benghazi, known as Katepat Alfadeel for the locals, was the center of the fierce conflicts that took place from February 17 to February 20 during the first battle of Benghazi. On February 20, the troops loyal to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi left the compound while the rebels were liberating the people kept in the underground prisons of Katepat.
