Matt Ogens is the Director and Producer of CONFESSIONS OF A SUPERHERO, a feature documentary exploring the fascination, obsession, and allure of fame through the eyes of some unique individuals trying to succeed in Hollywood. It screened at the SXSW Film Festival and AFI Fest, where it was one of the most talked about films. It was released theatrically by Red Envelope Entertainment and Arts Alliance America under their Morgan Spurlock Presents banner and is forthcoming on Sundance Channel. Confessions received critical acclaim in such publications as The New York times, The Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, The Village Voice, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and more.

Ogens has earned three Emmy Award nominations for shows he directed for ESPN documenting the real life experiences of some of the top personalities in sports, including an acclaimed episode chronicling the Angola Prison Rodeo. In addition, Matt has directed shows for MTV, VH1 (a pilot about hip hop superstar turned actor Ludacris), as well as sequences of The Victoriaâ??s Secret Fashion Show for CBS. Most recently, he directed segments of CNN Heroes, an awards show hosted by Anderson Cooper, which aired around the world on Thanksgiving night.

He regularly helms commercial campaigns, which include such brands as Hitachi, Mars (M&Mâ??s), ESPN, Ping Golf, IBM, and Toyota (â??Line of Scrimmageâ??) which aired during every Sunday night NFL game as part of the half time show) and a new spot for Nascar starring Kevin Costner.
