This series, taken in Vietnam, is part of a larger body of work that seeks to touch upon the theme of origin, identity, and heritage. They are images of his birthplace, friends, family and neighbours - frozen glimpses into the lives of a people and country on the cusp of change, a complex portrait, ultimately, of the artist himself.
