Drunken Dragon Festival

Image from the festival, Feast of the Drunken Dragon, which occurred on May 12, 2008. Drunken participants walked through the streets of Macau drinking and spewing alcohol everywhere they went. The event is an annual Taoist ritual in which they are celebrating the end to a long ago plague that the Dragon helped to end. By drinking so much on this day they believe that they can dance wildly with this helpful dragon.
