Orphaned (Ukraine)

In April 2008 I boarded a plane to Odessa in the Ukraine. I discovered hope and strength within these children.
Most of these photos were taken in Odessa and Izmail, Ukraine. My trip lasted 7 days.
People viewing my photographs from this project seem to be struck at how they "see" their own children in the faces. Maybe such a connection can create a responsibility to give these children the childhood and hope they deserve.
