Adrian grew up in Lucerne, Switzerland, where he studied constructional engineering. After graduation, he spent considerable time traveling in Asia, where he discovered his passion for photography. He moved to the US in 1997 to study visual communications at the New England School of Photography in Boston. Adrian received the renowned M. Husmann Grant for Excellence in Documentary Photography, won second prize (News) at the College Photographer of the Year awards and was selected to attend the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop in 1999. In 2000 he moved to New York and joined fabrik studios. His work has been recognized at the International Photography Awards in Los Angeles, THE ONE SHOW New York, American Photography 25 and the Cannes International Advertising Festival. He currently shoots for clients such as Hewlett Packard, Chase, Evian, Kraft, Milk, Martha Stewart, Bodum and New Balance with ad agencies BBDO, DDB, EuroRSCG, Grey, JWT, Lowe and McGarry Bowen.
