Niger, September 2007. Start-up phase of M?decins Sans Fronti?res program for free access to health care. The region is deeply affected by high levels of malnutrition, pregnancy-related deaths and malaria.

Tommaso Barsali, born 1979, is a self-taught photographer. His main focus is about in-depth documentary photography. "Hulk's Toys" is a book project about Franco Bellucci, an outsider artist, formerly detained in an asylum during 40 years, and his self-made toys. It was exhibited as a work in progress in private and public galleries in Livorno, Genova and Pordenone in 2008-2009.
