As water shapes rock over thousands of years, myths, religions, fairy tales and heroic deeds have shaped humanity in endless ways. They inspired the treasures that connect us to our past, but are those connections slowly fading? Can the ancient world transform once more, creating new stories to shape and inspire us?

Created entirely from my own photographs, the works are composed in Photoshop and digitally hand-painted using a drawing tablet, without AI-generated imagery.

Cheraine Collette, 1993, the Netherlands, is recognized for her ethereal photographic paintings that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. She’s included in the permanent Museum collection of the Museo d'Arte di Chianciano Terme and exhibited at prestigious venues such as Art Basel CONTEXT Miami and Scope Miami, Contemporary Istanbul, Art Karlsruhe, and the 8th Biennale of Chianciano. Solo shows in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and her work has been featured in group shows across the globe. Her works are an oeuvre found in esteemed corporate and private collections worldwide.

Awards Cheraine’s work has been published by NG China Traveler, twice in 2020, and is featured by FORBES, My Modern Met, National Geographic, The Wallace Collection Museum, and many more.
She received over 300 prestigious international awards and honors since her first participation in 2019, immediately winning 1st place at the IPA, and including two Golden Pangea Trophies, and ‘Fine Art Photographer Of The Year’ from world-renowned institutions for her photographic paintings and books.
