The moment right after the show on stage is done.

How does an artist feel before meeting his audience? What happens behind the scenes? How does that change over time? These are just a few of the many questions that inspired me to begin a long-term photographic documentary project in 2013 on the Thuringian pianist, composer, and producer Martin Kohlstedt.

This intimate and up-close photographic documentation paints an intimate picture of the career of musician Martin Kohlstedt.
