I photograph as if painting with the colors of flowers.
The scenes I see overlap with the light and colors held in my memory, appearing and disappearing like a blink.
In everyday life, there are moments when I find myself quietly drawn to the light, the scent, and the flowers that simply exist there.
I think it is a simple feeling.
I continue to photograph as a way of holding onto that feeling.
※MABATAKI means "blink" in Japanese—a fleeting moment when light, memory, and perception overlap.
