The bank of the Vistula River. A photograph taken at dusk, featuring a distant panorama of the city of Toruń. The river's water level is very low, effectively halting navigation for all but small boats. The receding water has revealed interestingly shaped sand ripples; in the shot, the trees appear as though these sand formations were roots emerging from the water below. In an era of climate change, the photograph serves as an artistic warning of a potential total lack of water.
