Fifty years later, a day doesn't go by that Luis Pereira 75yrs at his home in Dili does not think of the time he was enslaved by the Indonesian military & was forced to move the burnt remains of the five Australian based journalists known as the Balibo Five who were killed by Indonesian special forces in 1975 during the Indonesian invasion of Timor-Leste. In 2007 at great personal risk,Pereira along with two other men who were enslaved,gave evidence at a coronial inquest into the death of one of the Balibo Five in Sydney finding they were murdered. This has been the only form of justice.
