The series expresses the hope that the future emerges where people are willing to take responsibility. Since the 1990s, I have explored the boundaries of photography. Originating from analogue medium-format photographs, my works evolve through digital image processing and generative artificial intelligence into contemporary visual narratives, in which female archetypes from European cultural history reimagine enduring questions of responsibility, identity, power, and humanity.
