This series reinterprets the repetition and rhythm found in the eaves of traditional Korean architecture. Structural elements such as brackets, rafters, and dancheong patterns serve functional roles while simultaneously creating strong visual patterns. By flattening perspective and removing context, the work transforms Korean architecture into an abstract image. It captures the order produced by repeated function and the rhythm emerging from its accumulation.
