MASKED is the opening chapter of IDENTITY, a photographic trilogy exploring concealment, experience, and transformation through the male figure. Rather than functioning as disguises, the masks in these photographs serve as psychological instruments. They invite viewers to look beyond the face and consider how identity is expressed through gesture, posture, and the physical presence of the body. As facial recognition is interrupted, the body becomes the primary site of communication, revealing vulnerability, resilience, ritual, and self-protection.
