This series lives in a space before consequence, the breath held between cause and effect. An ordinary object is placed in proximity to its own undoing. Nothing moves. Nothing has happened. And yet everything about the frame insists that it will.

Shot against a minimal, dark ground with a single controlled light source, the work strips away everything except the relationship between subject and threat. The egg becomes the protagonist, and each situation around it becomes a challenge, not unlike the ones we face throughout our own lives.

Ashish Gurbani is an internationally recognised advertising photographer known for his refined, clutter-free visual language and precise command of light. His work has helped both Indian and global brands stand out through striking, minimal imagery that is as purposeful as it is beautiful.
