Born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1987, Gabriel Marcos grew up in the underground—graffiti, skateboarding, and hardcore punk shaped both his attitude and the raw energy of his visual language. The street was always at the center of it all, making street photography a natural continuation of that life. Since moving to Germany in 2016, the streets of Berlin have become both subject and mirror in his ongoing search for meaning. Influenced by the Japanese snapshot visual language, his work moves between observation and introspection, tracing fragments of self through the world outside.
