South Sudan is often represented through the lens of conflict and humanitarian crisis. While those realities exist, they do not define the entirety of its people. My intention was to create a body of work that shifts the narrative toward resilience, dignity, beauty, and cultural continuity. The photographs reveal daily rituals with the cattle, ceremonies, family life, and the enduring relationship between people, cattle, landscape, and spirituality. All the elements that have shaped these communities for generations.
