Animask is a collection of original visual fables that blend photography and poetry. Through symbolism and surrealism, Daphne Youree and Adam Lablack present a series of masked self-portraits in which they embody animals, and in which the composition brings to light psychological, philosophical and societal dimensions of the human experience. These allegories, echoing the Aesop’s Fables, were photographed across New York, France, and Prague.
