Having just been discharged from the military, I urgently need a portfolio to apply for graduate school. I unexpectedly contacted a friend who was studying dance. We learned that we both needed photographic works as supporting materials for our graduate school applications, which led to this collaboration. Because we were both busy, we didn't have enough time to communicate and discuss beforehand, and we only spent two hours shooting on the day. However, the result was exceptionally beautiful. All her body movements presented the temperament of a ballerina, like a swan, proud and graceful.

To be honest, I don't always have the answers. My intuition tells me that’s the way to go; my sense of beauty craves that specific light; my eyes find the composition before my mind does. My intuition has no guide; it flows naturally and leads me without hesitation. I love who I am in those moments—simply following where my heart leads.
