Creatures explores loneliness, isolation, loss, and the fragile process of acceptance after emotional rupture. Each figure appears as a wounded presence, suspended in limbo after an event that has altered them and shook the foundation of their existence. At the centre (first photo) stands the Muse: the creature who inspires, wounds, haunts, and keeps the artist creating. The series reflects on silent trauma, obsession, inspiration, and the strange beauty that can emerge from what has hurt us.

Sotirios Zervopoulos is a molecular biologist located in Athens, Greece. His love for photography started back in 2018 after using a microscope to generate images for his PhD. He loves conceptual portrait photography and uses his lens to explore feelings that we do not share with anyone but ourselves. His themes revolve around isolation, abandonment and depression and rely on closeup and cinematic shots. He is heavily influenced by movies, books and music.
