Caught in the treadmill of survival, children face the agonizing helplessness of being unable to accompany aging parents, forcing them to outsource care. This series explores "Filial Labor," where migrant workers become flesh-and-blood surrogates—the substituted children. From mechanical medical labor to profound tenderness, the narrative highlights the dual tragedy of modern survival. Ultimately, the warmth dissolves, leaving the caregiver connected to her own distant family through a cold smartphone screen.
