Redefining "Family" as the interconnectedness of all life. Documenting my wife’s journey as a social activist, a couple together for 25 years co-created a dress for Kyoto’s UNESCO World Heritage site, Nishi Hongwanji temple—celebrating its 754-year history—to symbolize gender equality. Capturing a moment of selfless presence (mushin), this photograph transcended art—inspiring the historic establishment of the temple's Gender Equality Promotion Committee in 2024. A testament to art driving social change.
