Elvira’s portraits are a journey into the depths of the human soul. Working primarily in black-and-white and minimalism, she seeks to reveal the uniqueness of each person in all aspects: appearance, inner world, and personal story. She aims to show a person’s inner state, vulnerability, emotions, and experiences — what is usually hidden inside.
For Elvira herself, photography became a way to get through a personal tragedy. After the loss of her husband, she turned to photography as a space where she could once again feel grounded and return to life
